Nederweert is a municipality and a town in southeastern Netherlands with 16 695 inhabitants as of January 1, 2009 and has a surface area of 101,78 km² (of which 1,51 km² is water). Nederweert lies at the intersection of three channels: the Zuid-Willemsvaart, the Noordervaart and the channel Wessem-Nederweert.
