Nuth is a municipality and a village in the Dutch province of Limburg, situated in the southern Netherlands. The village Nuth has 5,548 inhabitants, and is with that the largest village of the municipality. The town hall of the municipality Nuth is also situated in the village Nuth. The other villages in the municipality are Hulsberg with 4,300 inhabitants, Schimmert with 3,339, Wijnandsrade with 1,812 and Vaesrade with 1,027 inhabitants .

Hoensbroek

Hoensbroek is a Dutch town in the municipality of Heerlen. It is situated in the southeast of Limburg, a province in the southeast of the Netherlands. Until 1982, Hoensbroek was a separate municipality. Hoensbroek is known for its medieval castle, Kasteel Hoensbroek, named after Knight Hoen, a member of the Hoen Family. It dates from around 1250. Hoensbroek is also known for the fair on Ascension Day. (Hemelvaartsdag) brings as many as 100,000 people every year to Hoensbroek.

Oirsbeek

Oirsbeek is a village in the southeast of the Netherlands, part of the municipality of Schinnen. Between 1839 and 1982, Oirsbeek was a separate municipality. Oirsbeek has about 4000 inhabitants. The Sint Lambertuskerk, a Roman Catholic Church, was built in 1951 by Frits Peutz on the remains of two older churches: the original church built in 1514 and a second church built in 1830. It is unknown where the name Oirsbeek originates from.
