Schermerhorn

Schermerhorn is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schermer, and lies about 9 km south of Heerhugowaard. Schermerhorn was a separate municipality until 1970, when it was merged with Schermer. In 2001, the village of Schermerhorn had 874 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.17 km², and contained 360 residences.

Zuidermeer

Zuidermeer is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Wester-Koggenland, and lies about 6 km west of Hoorn. The statistical area "Zuidermeer", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 480.

Nieuwe Toren, Kampen

The Nieuwe Toren (New Tower) is located at the Oudestraat in the city of Kampen. This Carillon tower was built in the period between 1649-1664 partly according to a design by Philips Vingboons. The lower brick-built part was erected by the Edam mill maker (Master carpenter) Dirck Janzn. The design for the lantern was made by Philips Vingboons, which may have originally been intended for the Town hall now the Royal Palace of Amsterdam.

Obdam

Obdam is a former municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland and the region of West-Frisia. The municipality ceased to exist on 1 January 2007 when it merged with Wester-Koggenland to form the new municipality of Koggenland.
