Kampensnieuwland

Kampensnieuwland or Kampernieuwland is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It existed until 1816, when it merged into the municipality of Wissenkerke. The municipality covered a number of polders north and northwest of the village of Kamperland. The area is now a part of the municipality of Noord-Beveland.

Veerse Gat

The Veerse Gat or Veeregat was the sea channel between Walcheren and Noord-Beveland islands in Zeeland in the Netherlands. In 1961 as part of the Delta Plan it was blocked off and made into an inland lake called Veerse Meer.

Neeltje Jans

Neeltje Jans is an artificial island in the Netherlands in the province of Zeeland, halfway between Noord-Beveland and Schouwen-Duiveland in the Oosterschelde. It was constructed to facilitate the construction of the Oosterscheldedam. The island was named after a nearby sand bar.

Walcheren

' is a former island in the province of Zeeland in the Netherlands at the mouth of the Scheldt estuary. It lies between the Oosterschelde in the north and the Westerschelde in the south and is roughly the shape of a rhombus. The two sides facing the North Sea consist of dunes; the rest of its coastline is made up of dykes. Middelburg lies at its centre; this city is the provincial capital and Vlissingen 9 km to the south is the main harbour. The third municipality is Veere.
