Waslala is a municipality in the Región Autónoma del Atlántico Norte department of Nicaragua - it is 71 miles from Matagalpa and 161 miles from Managua. The Nicaraguan_Revolution affected Waslala tremendously - it was the location of many guerilla fights. The city has electricity, television and cable service, and cell phone service.
