Otamiri River

The Otamiri River is one of the main rivers in Imo State, Nigeria. The river takes its name from Ota Miri, a deity who owns all the waters that are called by his name, and who is often the dominating god of Mbari houses. The river runs south from Egbu past Owerri and through Nekede, Ihiagwa, Eziobodo, Olokwu Umuisi, Mgbirichi and Umuagwo to Ozuzu in Etche, in the Rivers State, from where it flows to the Atlantic Ocean.

Enyimba International Stadium

Enyimba International Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Aba, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as a home ground of Enyimba International F.C. The stadium holds 25,000 people. On November 3, 2008 the stadium received an indefinite ban after the home crowd attacked referees after a heated 1-1 tie with rivals Heartland F.C..

Aba, Abia

Aba is a city and a big trading center in Abia State, southern Nigeria, located on the Aba River. Aba was established by the Igbo People of Nigeria as a market town and then later a military post was placed there by the British colonial administration in 1901. The city became a collecting point for agricultural products following the British made railway running through it to Port Harcourt.

Oyigbo

Oyigbo is a town and Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. It is a satellite of Port Harcourt, lying a few kilometers to the northeast of the city. Sir Precious Oforji was elected Chairman of the Oyigbo LGA in 2008. Sunday Elechi Oforji was Chief in Oyigbo until his death in July 2009. Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) operates an oil well in the LGA. The Oyigbo people are of Igbo extraction.
