Botnsvatnet or Botsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Valle in Aust-Agder county, Norway. The lake is located just north of the lakes Rosskreppfjorden and Kolsvatnet and also to the north of the mountain Urddalsknuten. The village of Valle is located 14 kilometres to the east of the lake. The lake has an area of 5.61 square kilometres and sits at an elevation of 1,020 metres above sea level.

It is a long, narrow lake that was created by building a dam at the Holen hydroelectric power plant on the eastern end of the lake. The village of Nordbygdi is located on the north shore of the lake, and the village of Bykle is located about 2 kilometres to the east of the lake.
