Stangaland

Stangaland is a former municipality of the traditional district of Haugaland in Rogaland county, Norway. Stangaland was the rural municipality surrounding the city of Kopervik, and is now a part of what we define as Kopervik today. It was created by a split from Avaldsnes on January 1, 1909. The new municipality had a population of 1.001. On 1 January 1965 Stangaland was merged with Avaldsnes, Kopervik, Skudenes, Skudeneshavn, Torvastad and Åkra to form the new municipality Karmøy.

Kleppe is a village in, and the administrative centre of, the municipality of Klepp, in the county of Rogaland, Norway. Kleppe, an abbreviated form of its former name Kleppekrossen, is in the centre of the municipality. The population around Kleppe is growing rapidly, mostly in the form of suburban single-family homes, but also in the form of apartment blocks.

Ganddal Station

Ganddal Station is a railway station located just south of Sandnes in Rogaland, Norway on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail between Stavanger and Egersund. The station is 18.49 kilometers south of Stavanger. The Ålgård Line parted from the Sørlandet Line at Ganddal, but passenger traffic was terminated in 1955, and freight traffic in 1988.
