Sandnessund Bridge

Sandnessund Bridge is a cantilever road bridge that crosses the Sandnessundet strait between the islands of Tromsøya and Kvaløya in the municipality of Tromsø in Troms county, Norway. The Tromsø Bridge, the Tromsøysund Tunnel, and this bridge are the three road connections into the city of Tromsø on the island of Tromsøya. The 1,220-metre Sandnessund Bridge was constructed out of concrete and it has 36 spans supporting it.

Norwegian College of Fishery Science

The Norwegian College of Fishery Science was established in 1972 as a joint responsibility of the three Norwegian universities in Tromsø, Bergen and Trondheim.
