Kohlu District

Kohlu is a district of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is bounded in the north by Loralai District, Dera Bugti in the south, in the east Rojhan-Mazari and Sibi District in the west. Kohlu District covers a total of 7,456 square miles and according to the 1998 census of Pakistan had a population of 99,000. The area is mostly inhibited by a nomadic or semi - nomadic population, which camps with their flocks of sheep and moves with the seasons to find pasture.

Kohlu

Kohlu is the capital of Kohlu District in Balochistan, Pakistan. It is located at 29°54'0N 69°15'0E with an altitude of 1183 metres (3884 feet). The Marri tribe is main ethnic group in the city. Educational institutions consist of six english medium schools, and an intermediate college; as of 2013 a cadet college is under construction. About 87% of the population consists of the Marri tribe, 10% Zarkun, the other 3% are mixed tribes living there.

Barkhan District

Barkhan District, is a district in the north-East of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It was given the status of a district on 31 December 1991. The livelihood of the people in this district is based on agriculture and livestock. The mineral deposits in the area are yet not explored, which are considered to be in huge quantity. Wheat,tomatoes, fodder, vegetable, jawar, onion, garlic, and melon, as well as apples, almonds, plums, apricots, pomegranates and peaches are grown here.
