Dera Ghazi Khan District

Dera Ghazi Khan, is a district in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Its capital is Dera Ghazi Khan city. The district covers an area of 5,306 m² and it is a long narrow strip of country, 198 m. in length, sloping gradually from the hills which form its western boundary to the river Indus on the east. Below the hills the country is high and arid, generally level, but sometimes rolling in sandy undulations, and intersected by 201 hill torrents.

Mana Ahmadani, is a town and union council of Dera Ghazi Khan District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 29°47'58N 70°35'3E and has an altitude of 111 metres (367 feet). Mana Ahmedani has been named for Sardar Mana Khan Baloch, who is tribal chief of Ahmadani tribe. The prominent tribe of the town is Ahmadani Baloch.
