Karachi Division

Karachi Division is an administrative division of the Sindh Province of Pakistan. The Karachi Division was abolished in 2000 and five districts of Karachi were merged in City District Karachi. The City District Karachi was divided in 18 Towns and 178 union councils. On 11th July 2011 Sindh Government restored again 5 districts of Karachi division.

Gillani railway station

Gillani Railway Station is an abandoned railway station on Karachi Circular Railway loop line in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Pakistan. In the past, Pakistan Railways had a plan to established a central railway station for Karachi there. For a while it was the terminus station of Tezro and was a stop for the Chenab Express when it was running via the KCR loop for few years in the 1990s.

National Stadium, Karachi

The National Stadium is a cricket stadium in Karachi, Pakistan. It is currently used for cricket matches, and is home to Karachi's domestic cricket teams. The stadium is able to hold 34,228 spectators, making it the 2nd largest cricket stadium in Pakistan after Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Its widely criticised that the city of this size with a population of over 15 million having such a small capacity stadium.

Gulshan-e-Iqbal

Gulshan-e-Iqbal is a large residential and commercial neighbourhood of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The name "Gulshan-e-Iqbal" means "the garden of Iqbal", referring to the national poet of Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Iqbal. It also boasts some of the most notable gardens in the city of Karachi. There are several ethnic groups in Gulshan-e-Iqbal including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc.
