Anab is also the NATO reporting name for the Kaliningrad K-8 air-to-air missile. Anab is one of the cities in the mountains of Judah, from which Joshua expelled the Anakim . It still retains its ancient name. It lies among the hills, 10 miles south-south-west of Hebron.

Carmit

Carmit is a new community in the northern Negev of Israel within the jurisdiction of Meitar located near Cramim Forest. The community is accepting Israelis and new immigrant families to create a unique and diverse community in the Negev. In 2005 the District Planning and Building Commission of the Southern Region approved the construction of 739 housing units for Carmit's Phase A.

Green Line (Israel)

Green Line refers to the demarcation lines set out in the 1949 Armistice Agreements between Israel and its neighbours after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The Green Line is also used to mark the line between Israel and the territories captured in the Six-Day War, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights and Sinai Peninsula (the last has since been returned to Egypt as part of the 1979 peace treaty).

Mitzpe Eshtemoa

Mitzpe Eshtemoa is an Israeli settlement outpost in the West Bank. Located to the north of Shim'a, it falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hebron Regional Council. It was established in early 2003. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Lehavim-Rahat Railway Station

Lehavim Rahat Railway Station is a station on the Israel Railways lines between Tel Aviv (and points north) and Beersheba, located near Lehavim Junction. The station was opened on June 23, 2007. It serves the suburb of Lehavim and the Bedouin community of Rahat. The station was briefly renamed to Lehavim Railway Station, or Lehavim Center Railway Station, although Rahat was added back to the name after a campaign led by Rahat's mayor, Talal al-Karnawi.
