Ludźmierz

Ludźmierz is a village in Poland in the Lesser Poland voivodeship, in the county of Nowy Targ. Ludźmierz is the oldest village in Podhale and is located about 85 kilometres south of Kraków. It lies approximately 3 kilometres west of Nowy Targ and 66 km south of the regional capital Kraków. The building of the church which the village is famous for was begun in 1234 and completed by 1238. It is run by the Cistercians who were custodians of the site until 1824.

Szaflary is a village in southern Poland situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship since 1999 (it was previously in Nowy Sącz Voivodeship from 1975-1998). Szaflary has about 2,200 residents.
