Muskau Bend Landscape Park

Muskau Bend Landscape Park (Park Krajobrazowy Łuk Mużakowa) is a protected area in western Poland, established in 2001, covering an area of 182.00 square kilometres . It takes its name from a bend in the Lusatian Neisse river (which marks the Polish-German border) in the vicinity of the German town of Bad Muskau (facing the Polish town of Łęknica). The Park lies within Lubusz Voivodeship, in Żary County.

Brody, Żary County

Brody is a village in Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Brody. It lies approximately 31 kilometres north-west of Żary and 53 km west of Zielona Góra. The village has a population of 1,070. The village in the historic Lower Lusatia region passed from the Kingdom of Bohemia to the Electorate of Saxony by the 1635 Peace of Prague.

Zasieki

Zasieki is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Brody, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border. It lies approximately 9 kilometres south-west of Brody, 35 km west of Żary, and 62 km west of Zielona Góra. It lies on the Nysa Łużycka river opposite the German city of Forst. Before World War II the village was known as Berge and was part of the city of Forst. A road and railroad border crossing is located in Zasieki.
