Niegosławice (formerly German Waltersdorf) is a village in Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Niegosławice. It lies approximately 28 kilometres east of Żagań and 42 km south of Zielona Góra. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. The Nobel Prize-winning German biologist Günter Blobel was born there in 1936. The village has a population of 930.
