Multinational Corps Northeast

Multinational Corps Northeast was formed on 18 September 1999 at Szczecin, Poland, which became its headquarters. It evolved from what was for many years the only multinational corps in NATO, Allied Land Forces Schleswig-Holstein and Jutland (in its turn, a part of Allied Forces Northern Europe). From 1962 LANDJUT had been responsible for the defence of the Baltic Approaches from a headquarters at Rendsburg, Germany. It comprised the 6th Panzergrenadier Division and the Danish Jutland Division.

Stadion Florian Krygier

Stadion Florian Krygier is a multi-use stadium in Szczecin, Poland. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Pogoń Szczecin. The stadium holds 17,783 people and was built in 1925. It is named in honour of Florian Krygier, Polish football coach and an instrumental figure in the history of Pogoń Szczecin.
