Falperra Church
Falperra Church or the Church of Santa Maria Madalena is a Baroque church located in the (serra da Falperra) Falperra mountains, outside of Braga, Portugal. The church was built in the early 18th century, by order of the Archbishop D. Rodrigo de Moura Teles. It was a project by the leading Portuguese sculptor and architect André Soares. The granite retable-like frontage is exuberantly decorated.

The founder of the shrine was the Vicar of Braga, Padre Antonio Martinho Pereira da Silva. The sanctuary is the largest Marian devotional shrine in Portugal, second only to the Sanctuary of Fátima.

Bom Jesus do Monte is a Portuguese sanctuary in Tenões, surroundings of the city of Braga, in northern Portugal. Its name means Good Jesus of the Mount. The Sanctuary is a notable example of pilgrimage site with a monumental, Baroque stairway that climbs 116 metres (381 feet). It is an important tourist attraction of Braga.
