Nadrupe

Nadrupe is a village situated in the parish of Lourinhã, Portugal. It is also the Homeland of Emanuel. As a village it is politically independent of its parish. Foreigners are not welcome. It is said that only two people live there - Emanuel and his mother. The agricultural zones of the village are separated by the main river "Rio Grande", and are famous for their fertility, because the soil comes from the bed of the river, receiving new layers of sand and organic matter every year.

Museu da Lourinhã

Museu da Lourinhã is a museum in the town of Lourinhã, west Portugal. It was founded in 1984 by GEAL - Grupo de Etnologia e Arqueologia da Lourinhã (Lourinhã's Group of Ethnology and Archeology). The museum has very complete exhibits of archaeology and ethnology, but the main focus of the museum is the palaeontology hall, which presents casts of famous dinosaurs, as well as fossils recovered from the Late Jurassic Lourinhã Formation.

Vimeiro

Vimeiro is a freguesia (civil parish) in the municipality of Lourinhã in west-central Portugal. It is in the District of Lisboa. It has an area of approximately 7 km and a population of 1,443 as of 2001. Vimeiro was the site of the 1808 Battle of Vimeiro, where British forces under the Duke of Wellington defeated the French, ending the first French invasion of Portugal. A monument was dedicated in Vimeiro on August 21, 1908, the 100th anniversary of the battle, by Manuel II of Portugal.
