Stadionul Iftimie Ilisei
Iftimie Ilisei Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Medgidia, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of CSM Medgidia. The stadium holds 32,700 people. It was built in 1983 and until 2008 it was known as the Municipal Stadium when it was ranamed after Iftimie Ilisei, the former mayor of Medgidia who build it. Medgidia Clinker Storage Facility is the largest dome-type cement clinker storage facility in the world and one of the largest dome-type structures in Romania. The Tropaeum Traiani is a monument in Roman Civitas Tropaensium, built in 109 in then Moesia Inferior, to commemorate Roman Emperor Trajan's victory over the Dacians, in 102, in the Battle of Tapae.
