Lisy Nos, before 1928

Lisy Nos, was a railway station in Lisy Nos, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The station was on a wooden landing stage on the bank of the Gulf of Finland. The station opened on October 31, 1894, when it was constructed on a branch line from Razdelnaya station. A steam locomotive with two or three carriages brought passengers along the branch line from Razdelnaya station. A passenger ferry from Lisy Nos to Kronstadt connected with the trains.

Battle of Kronstadt

The Battle of Kronstadt (Russian: Battle of Krasnaya Gorka or Красногорское сражение) was a naval battle fought in the Gulf of Finland west of Kronstadt on 3–4 June 1790. The Swedish naval forces sought to engage the Kronstadt squadron of Russian fleet and defeat them both to prevent Russian squadrons from joining together and also to open the sea route to Kronstadt and Saint Petersburg.
