Dankov

Dankov is a town and the administrative center of Dankovsky District of Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Don River 86 kilometers northwest of Lipetsk. Population: 21,064; 23,249; 24,659. The fort of Donkov was founded by the Princes of Ryazan in the late 14th century and took its name from the Don River. The town stood on the left bank of the Don, about 34 kilometers from the modern town, until 1568, when it was destroyed by the Crimean Tatars.

Krasivaya Mecha River

Krasivaya Mecha is a river in Tula and Lipetsk Oblasts in Russia. It is a right tributary of the Don River, and is 244 km in length, with a drainage basin of 6000 km².
