Magoksa
Magoksa is a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism in Gongju, South Korea. It is located on the eastern slope of Taehwasan, on taegeuk-shaped bend in the Taegeukcheon Stream. Magoksa is believed to have been established in 640 or 642 by the monk Jajang of Silla, however, this account is in dispute by some since Gongju would have lain within Baekje territory at that time.

Yeongi County
Yeongi County (Yeongi-gun) was a county in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea now part of Sejong. Jochiwon is the main city within Yeongi. Jochiwon, as of 2011, has a large foreign community of native English speakers considering its rather small size and population. This is due to the existence of two major universities: Hong-ik University and Korea University Korea University Sejong Campus, both satellite campuses. Battle of Taejon
The Battle of Taejon (14–21 July 1950) was an early battle between United States and North Korean forces during the Korean War. Forces of the United States Army, attempting to defend the headquarters of the 24th Infantry Division were overwhelmed by numerically superior forces of the Korean People's Army at the major city and transportation hub of Taejon.
