Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea was an International Exposition recognized by the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) held in Yeosu, South Korea which opened May 12, 2012 and ran until August 12, 2012. Yeosu (Yeosu-si) is a city in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. Old Yeosu City, which was founded in 1949, Yeocheon City, founded in 1986, and Yeocheon County were merged into a new city in 1998. Namhaedo

Namhae Island is the principal island of Namhae County, on the southern coast of South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is the fifth largest island in South Korea. Together with Changseon Island, it forms Namhae County. It is joined to land by Namhae Bridge.
