Larrea is a village located in the municipality of Barrundia in the province of Álava, in the Basque Autonomous Community, northern Spain. It had 79 inhabitants in 2004. The author of the recently discovered Lazarraga Manuscript lived in this village in the Torre de Larrea during the 16th century.

Guevara, Spain

Guevara (in Basque and officially Gebara) is a small village and former municipality through which the Zadorra River runs. The village is administered by the council of Barrundia and situated in the province of Álava, in the Basque Autonomous Community, Spain. The place is renowned for the role played by the lords of Guevara in the Basque Party Wars of the late Middle Ages and their castle conspicuous from miles away at the top of a hill.
