Serra de Cavalls

Serra de Cavalls is a mountain chain located at the southern end of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, Catalonia, Spain. The ridge's highest point is Punta Redona (659.2 m). This mountain range lies within the Benissanet, Gandesa and El Pinell de Brai municipal term. On the northern side are two ridges of parallel foothills called Serra del Pebre and Serra de Santa Madrona.

Terra Alta

Terra Alta is a sparsely populated inland comarca (county) in Catalonia, Spain. Its capital is Gandesa. It is also known as Castellania, a name dating back to its medieval status as a fiefdom held by the Order of Knights of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem under the Crown of Aragon.

Terra Alta (DO)

Terra Alta is a Spanish Denominación de Origen (DO) (Denominació d’Origen in Catalan) for wines located in the west of the province of Tarragona and covers 12 inland municipalities. As the name indicates (Terra Alta = High Land) the area is in the mountains. It is of great natural beauty and features in many of Picasso’s paintings.

Serra de Pàndols

Serra de Pàndols is a limestone mountain chain located at the southern end of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, in Catalonia, Spain. There is a project to install wind turbines on the Serra de Pàndols and neighboring Serra de Cavalls which has met with public protests. The Serra de Paüls mountain range is located to the south of this range.

Bajo Martín

Bajo Martín is a comarca in Aragon. It is part of the historical region of Lower Aragon. It is located in Teruel Province, in the transitional area between the Iberian System and the Ebro Valley. It borders the Aragonese comarcas of Ribera Baja del Ebro, Campo de Belchite, Cuencas Mineras, Andorra-Sierra de Arcos, Bajo Aragón and Bajo Aragón-Caspe. The Bajo Martín is named after the Martín River, a right-side tributary of the Ebro that flows across the comarca.
