Finnhamn

Finnhamn is a group of islands in the Stockholm archipelago. It is in Österåker Municipality and lies to the east of Ingmarsö and to the west of Husarö. The name is derived from the Finnish boats which called into the natural harbour on their way to and from Stockholm. A wealthy coal merchant built a house here in 1915 and this is now a youth hostel which is open all year round. Finnhamn was bought by Stockholm City in 1943.

Sandhamn

Sandhamn (Swedish for "Sand Harbour") is a small settlement in the central-peripheral part of the Stockholm Archipelago in central-eastern Sweden, approximately 50 km (30 mi) east of Stockholm. Sandhamn is located on the island Sandön ("Sand Island"), which is, however, colloquially referred to as Sandhamn. One of the most important natural ports in the archipelago with easy access to the Swedish capital, Sandhamn has been popular for pleasure boating since the late 19th century.
