Scandinavian Airlines Flight 751

Scandinavian Airlines Flight 751 was a regularly scheduled Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) flight from Stockholm, Sweden to Copenhagen, Denmark and Warsaw, Poland that crashed on 27 December 1991. The McDonnell Douglas MD-81 was piloted by Danish captain Stefan G. Rasmussen and Swedish first officer Ulf Cedermark. Ice had collected on the wings' inner roots (close to the fuselage) prior to take off, which broke off and was blown/sucked into the engines as the aircraft became airborne on takeoff.

Gottröra

Gottröra is a village in Norrtälje Municipality in the province of Uppland, Sweden. Several hundred ancient monuments are registered in Gottröra. In 1991 the Scandinavian Airlines Flight 751 had to make an emergency landing near Gottröra.

Lötsjön

Lötsjön is a small lake in Sundbyberg, a municipality north of Stockholm, Sweden. The shallow lake features a rich variety of water birds and a fountain. A promenade of approx. 1.4 km length leads around Lötsjön. Swimming in the lake is prohibited. The lake Råstasjön is located in close proximity to the east of Lötsjön.

Arlanda North Station

Arlanda North Station (Swedish: Arlanda norra station) is a railway station on the Arlanda Line serving Stockholm-Arlanda Airport in Sweden. The station is one of two station at the airport to be served by the Arlanda Express, the other being Arlanda South Station. The station is located inside a tunnel below the airport and is served by four or five trains per hour. The station serves Terminal 5 of the airport. The station is 39 kilometres from Stockholm Central Station.
