Feitsui Dam

Feitsui or Feicui Dam spans the Xindian River in northern Taiwan, southeast of the city of Taipei. It is one of two major reservoirs supplying water to the Taipei-Tamsui-Taoyuan region, the other being Shihmen Dam to the west. The dam was built almost exclusively for municipal water supply, although it also generates 70 MW of electricity. The dam is owned by Taipei City and was completed in 1984. The dam is 122.5 metres high and 510 metres long with a hydraulic head of 113.5 metres .

Maokong Station

Maokong Station is the terminal station of the Maokong Gondola of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, located in Wenshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It provides access to the town of Maokong, for which the station is named.

Hsuehshan Tunnel

The Hsuehshan Tunnel or "Snow Mountain" tunnel, is the longest tunnel in Taiwan, located on the Taipei-Yilan Freeway. It opened on June 16, 2006.

Zhinan Temple Station

Zhinan Temple is a station on the Maokong Gondola of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, located in Wenshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is named for the nearby Chi Nan Temple.

Chi Nan Temple

Chih Nan Temple (Chinese: 指南宮; pinyin: Zhĭnán Gōng; also called 仙公廟, Xiāngōng Miào) is a Taoist temple on the slopes of Houshan (猴山, "Monkey Mountain") in Muzha, a suburb of Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 1882. The temple's main deity is Lü Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals. As Lü is said to dwell in the southern courtyard of the heavenly court, the temple acts as a compass pointing toward the south (指南, zhĭnán); hence the name.
