The American School in Taichung (AST) is an international school in Taichung City, Taiwan offering grades one to twelve. The school, founded in 1990, was previously known as Lincoln American School. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and hosts the annual Taiwan Model United Nations (TAIMUN) conference from schools all across Taiwan. Wufeng District
Wufeng is a suburban district in southern Taichung, of the Republic of China. It was the location of Taiwan Provincial Council before 1999. Wufeng is a mainly agricultural town. It was heavily damaged by the Chi-Chi earthquake on September 21, 1999, which caused around 100 deaths in the town.
