Shilin District

For the rock formations in Yunnan, see Shilin (Stone Forest). Shilin District is a district of Taipei. The name "Shilin" was derived from Pattsiran, the Ketagalan word for "hot springs". It was then transliterated into Chinese as "八芝蘭" Bāzhīlán, and finally re-analyzed as "scholars as many as the trees in the woods" (士多如林).

Bailing Sport Park

Bailing Sport Park is a multi-use sport venue located in Shilin District, Taipei. The park has been open since 1989. It resides along Shilin and Shezi shores of the Keelung River, with around 2,900 metres in length and 60 to 100 metres in width. Total surface area is around 280,000 square metres.

Jiantan Station

The Taipei Metro Jiantan Station is a station on Tamsui Line, located in the Jiantan(劍潭) area of Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. There was a station of the same name on the now-defunct TRA Tamsui Line, however the position was different; the TRA station was further south.
