Yuchang Tunnel

The Yuchang Tunnel is a 2,660 m long tunnel located in east Taiwan. The tunnel through the Coastal Range. It is started construction on September 1, 2001, and was recently opened to the public on June 16, 2007. The tunnel is part of the Yuchang Highway, which links Hualien County and Taitung County. Bashian Cave

Bashian Cave is located in the East Coast of Taiwan in Hualien County. Bashian Cave possesses a distinctive eroded look and is famous for ruins dating from the Old Stone Age. There are 10-plus caves on the 328-feet high precipice, each of a different size and depth. Originally the caverns were below sea level, allowing waves to shape them, but now they are located on a high cliff - proof of the East Coast's changing surface.

Sansiantai

Sansiantai is an area containing a beach and several islands located on the coast of Taitung County, Taiwan. The beach stretches for ten kilometers in length. It is situated at the 112-kilometer mark. A popular tourist attraction for its rocky coastal views, the area is well known for its long footbridge that connects the coast to the largest island.
