Qimei Airport

Qimei Airport or Cimei Airport is an airport serving Cimei, an island in Penghu County, Taiwan. The Penghu County Government approved the building of the airport in 1977 for those on Chimay. The runway was redone in 1995, and is now under the control of Civil Aeronautics Administration.

Qimei, Penghu

Qimei (七美鄉) is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:23|12|29|N|119|25|43|E| | |name= }}, about 29 nautical miles from Makung, 48 nautical miles west of Tainan and 58 nautical miles north of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The unhabitated Mao Yu and Cao Yu west of Qimei are also under its governance. Qimei is 6.99 square km in area with a coastline of 14.4 kilometers and with about 3,214 people.

Little Taiwan

Little Taiwan is a wave-cut platform in Cimei, Penghu County, Taiwan. Visible at low tide, the platform has the shape of Taiwan. Together with the Double-Heart of Stacked Stones it is a tourist attraction on the island of Cimei.

Double-Heart of Stacked Stones

The Double-heart of stacked stones or the Twin-Heart Fish Trap is a stone weir located on the north side of Cimei, an island in the Penghu archipelago to the west of Taiwan. It is a well-preserved ancient fish trap made by stacking stones to form a trap that resembles a flying heart.

Wang-an Airport

Wang-an Airport is an airport in Wang-an, Penghu Islands, Republic of China. Construction of the airport started in January 1988, and was finished later that year. On May 11, 1991 the Civil Aeronautics Administration began to manage the airport, and the airport now has an auxiliary status. The runway was resurfaced in 1996.
