Ruifang District
Ruifang District is a suburban district in eastern New Taipei City in northern Republic of China (Taiwan). Mining was an important industry in Ruifang in the early 20th century. Gold was mined in Jiufen (九份) and Jinguashi (金瓜石) while coal was mined in Houtong (猴硐). The mining sites became popular tourist destinations after 1990.
