Chonburi (city)

Chonburi is the capital of Chonburi Province and Mueang Chonburi District in Thailand. It is located about 100km east of Bangkok, on the coast to the Gulf of Thailand. The name means city of water. Chon Buri, along with other areas along the coast to Pattaya, forms a conurbation known as the Pattaya-Chonburi Metropolitan Area. Chonburi has had town status since 1935.

Princess Sirindhorn Stadium is a sports stadium in Si Racha, Chonburi province, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Sriracha FC and formerly of Chonburi FC. The stadium holds 5,207 people.
