Surin Islands

The Surin Islands is an archipelago of five islands of the Andaman Sea, located 55 km from the Thai mainland. Administratively, the islands are part of Tambon Ko Phra Thong, Amphoe Khura Buri, in the Phang Nga Province of Thailand. The Mu Ko Surin National Park (อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่เกาะสุรินทร์) covers the area of the islands and their surrounding waters. Richelieu Rock

Richelieu Rock (called Hin Plo Naam in Thai) is a dive site in Thailand in the Andaman Sea about 200 km northwest of Phuket. It is part of the Mu Koh Surin marine park although being about 18 km east of Surin Island. The horseshoe-shaped reef discovered by Jacques-Yves Cousteau is known for its purple corals as well as diverse marine life ranging from small fish and harlequin shrimp to large pelagics like whale shark, manta ray, barracuda, and grouper.

Christie Island

Christie Island is an island in the Mergui Archipelago and the southernmost point of Burma (Myanmar). It lies at the southern end of the archipelago 18 km to the NNE of Ko Surin Nuea and the Thai-Burmese oceanic border is located between the two islands. Christie Island is 4.6 km long and has several peaks on it covered with thick forest. The highest one is 325 m high. Murray Island and Sanders Island are two small rocky islets off its southern shores.

Auriol Island

Auriol Island is an island at the southern end of the Mergui Archipelago, Burma. Its highest point is 183 m and is located at its western end. The island is densely wooded and lies 4.5 km south of Breuer Island.
