Khlong Damnoen Saduak

Khlong Damnoen Saduak (Thai คลองดำเนินสะดวก) is a canal in western central Thailand. It links the Tha Chin and Mae Klong rivers, and has a length of approximately 35 km. The canal was built by order of King Mongkut. It was finished in 1868. The most famous site along the canal is the floating market in Damnoen Saduak. At the mouth of the canal to the Mae Klong is the catholic Nativity of Our Lady Cathedral, the principal church of the Diocese of Ratchaburi.

Samut Songkhram Stadium

Samut Songkhram Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Samut Songkhram province, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Samut Songkhram FC of Thai Premier League. The stadium holds 6,000 people.

Samut Songkhram Province

Samut Songkhram is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from the south clockwise) Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi and Samut Sakhon. Local people call Samut Songkhram Mae Klong. The province is the smallest of all Thai provinces areawise. Chang and Eng Bunker, the famous Siamese twins were born here.

Samut Songkhram

Samut Songkhram is the capital of Thailand's Samut Songkhram Province, and of the Samut Songkhram district. It covers the area of the tambon Mae Klong (also the old name of the town), as well as the Mae Klong River, which enters the Gulf of Thailand near the town. The town is the terminus of the Maeklong Railway.

Mae Klong

The Mae Klong is a river in western Thailand. The river begins at the confluence of the Khwae Noi or Khwae Sai Yok and the Khwae Yai River or Khwae Si Sawat in Kanchanaburi, passes Ratchaburi Province and empties into the Gulf of Thailand in Samut Songkhram. In the 1960s the upper stretch of the river until the town of Kanchanaburi was renamed to Khwae Yai (แควใหญ่, big tributary), as the famous Bridge on the River Kwai spanned the Mae Klong and not the Khwae (Kwai) river.
