Mahares
Maharès is a small town in Tunisia with a population of 7,500 which swells up to 16,000 each summer with the return of locals that have immigrated to France, Italy and other Western European countries. The area is not known for any particular industry, but the town does attract many tourists. There is a large sandy beach 5 kilometers to the north called Chaffar.
