Mokissos

Mokissos is the formal name for a now inactive Diocese of the Greek Orthodox Church. Mokissos was an ancient Byzantine city, located in western Cappadocia at the foot of what is now known as the Hasan Dag, southeast of Koloneia. The Byzantine Emperor Justinian I rebuilt the ruined city, renamed Justinianoupolis (a name last attested in 692), and elevated it to the rank of ecclesiastical metropolis, with an eparchia that stretched south of the Halys River, the longest river of Asia Minor.

Ihlara

Ihlara is a township with own municipality in Aksaray Province, Central Anatolia, Turkey. It is situated at about 40 km from the province seat of Aksaray and near the town of Güzelyurt. The township is famed for the nearby valley of the same name, Ihlara Valley, which is a 16 km long gorge cut into volcanic rock in the southern part of Cappadocia, following several eruptions of Mount Erciyes. The Melendiz Stream flows through the valley.

Kitreli

Kitreli is a town in Çiftlik district of Niğde Province, Turkey. It is situated in a high peneplane at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|10|N|34|21|E||| | |name= }}. The distance to Çiftlik is 15 kilometres and to Niğde is 87 kilometres . (Aksaray, the capital of the next province is closer to Kitreli than Niğde). The population of the Kitreli was 2316 as of 1704. The name Kitreli refers to tragacanth a natural gum, produced around the town.

The distance to Güzelyurt is 11 kilometres and to Aksaray is 42 kilometres . Although a small village, Belisırma is a well known village because of various ruins around the village. Churh ruins of Ala, Bezirhane, Karagedik, Direkli, are Byzantine cave churches. The population of the village is 507 as of 2010.
