Malgaç Raid

The Malgaç Raid, was a raid conducted by Yörük Ali Efe and his men on 16 June 1919. The target of the raid was the Malgaç railway bridge, which was used by the Greeks to transport military equipment to Nazilli and beyond. It was one of the first organized civil resistance attacks against the invading Greek forces in western Anatolia.

Salavatlı

Salavatlı (former Kurucular) is a town in Sultanhisar district of Aydın Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:37|53|N|28|06|E||| | |name= }} It is situated to the north of Turkish state highway D.320 which connects Aydın to Sultanhisar. The distance to Sultanhisar is 8 kilometres and to Aydın is 30 kilometres . The population of the town is 1430 as of 2011. The settlement was founded in 1730 during Ottoman Empire era. In 1972 it was declared a seat of township.
