Paşayiğit

Paşayiğit is a town in Keşan district of Edirne Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|57|N|26|38|E||| | |name= }} it is situated on Turkish state highway D.550 which connects Keşan to Edirne . Its distance to Keşan is 12 kilometres and to Edirne is 100 kilometres . The popultion of Paşayiğit is 1428 as of 2011. The name of the town refers to a certain Paşayiğit, a Turkmen leader from Saruhan who captured the town on behalf of the Ottoman Empire in the 14th century.

Beğendik

Beğendik (sometimes pronounced as Beyendik) is a town in Keşan district of Edirne Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|56|N|26|34|E||| | |name= }} it is 10 kilometres to Keşan and about 115 kilometres to Edirne. Meriç River and Greece border is about 20 kilometres west of the town. Prior to the 20th century, he population of the village was composed of Greeks and the Greek name of the village was Άγιος Στέφανος Agios Stefanos.
