Otoyol 53

Otoyol 53 (English: Motorway 53), abbreviated as O-53, also known as Ceyhan-İskenderun Otoyolu (English: Ceyhan-İskenderun Motorway), is a toll motorway in Mediterranean Region, Turkey, connecting the Adana-Şanlıurfa Motorway O-52 with İskenderun. The motorway is part of international routes as European route E91 and Asian Highway 84. The O-53 starts from Ceyhan in Adana Province at the junction of O-52, runs southward to İskenderun South bypassing the city in the east.

Epiphania, Cilicia

Epiphania was a city in Cilicia Secunda (Cilicia Trachea), in Anatolia. The city was originally called Oiniandos, and was located in the area of the famous Gülek Pass (Cilician Gates). In the 2nd century BC the city was renamed Epiphania, in honour of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, King of Syria from 175 BC to 164 BC. The city is mentioned in the writings of Ptolemy and Pliny the Elder. Cicero stayed there briefly during his exile.

Günyurdu

Günyurdu is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:37|00|N|36|06|E||| | |name= }} it is situated in Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) plains between Çukurova motorway and state road D.400. It is one of the easternmost villages of the province. The distance to Tarsus is 20 kilometres and the distance to Mersin is 50 kilometres . The population of Günyurdu is 2032 as of 2011.

Kuzuculu

Kuzuculu is a town in Dörtyol district of Hatay Province, Turkey. It is almost merged to Dörtyol to the south at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|53|N|36|14|E||| | |name= }}. The population is 11300. The town was founded about five centuries ago by an Ottoman pasha named Emir Ali who built a watermill on the creek just at the south of the settlement. The first settlers were from Central Anatolia.
