Belevi

Belevi is a town in Selçuk district of İzmir Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|01|N|27|27|E||| | |name= }} it is situated between Turkish state highway D.550 and Turkish Motor way O-31. Lake Belevi is to the east. The distance to Selçuk is 11 kilometres and to İzmir is 55 kilometres . The population of Belevi is 2174 as of 2011. Belevi is the home of Belevi Mausoleum which was built by Lysimachus during the Hellenistic period of Anatolia.

75th Anniversary Selatin Tunnel

75th Anniversary Selatin Tunnel (Turkish: 75. Yıl Selatin Tüneli), is a road tunnel constructed on the motorway O-31 E87 at the province border of Izmir and Aydın, western Turkey. It is situated 35 km northwest of Aydın and 80 km southeast of Izmir, between the junctions Belevi and Germencik. With its length of 3,043 m, it was the country's longest tunnel when opened on April 20, 2000.

Şirince

Şirince is a village of 600 inhabitants in İzmir Province, Turkey, located about 6 kilometres east of the town Selçuk. Şirince was settled when Ephesus was abandoned in the 15th century but most of what one sees today dates from the 19th century. There is a story that the village was settled by freed Greek slaves who named the village Çirkince (meaning "Ugly" in Turkish) to deter others from following them.

Basilica of St. John

The Basilica of St. John was a basilica in Ephesus. It was constructed by Justinian I in the 6th century. It stands over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. It was modeled after the now lost Church of the Holy Apostles in Constantinople. The basilica is on the slopes of Ayasoluk Hill just below the fortress near the center of Selçuk, İzmir Province, Turkey and about 3.5 km from Ephesus.
