Ilısu, Gülnar

Ilısu (Avurga) is a village in Gülnar district of Mersin Province, Turkey. The village which is at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|34|N|33|05|E||| | |name= }} is 60 kilometres to Gülnar and 210 kilometres to Mersin. Small Ilısu waterfall is just 1.5 kilometres South east of the village. The population of the village is 264 as of 2011. The village Avurga was founded in 1850 as a hamlet of the nearby village Ilısu.

According to town page the name of the town may refer to Kazancıklı region in Balkan Province of Turkmenistan where the original residents of the town migrated from.
