Yeniyurt is a village in Erdemli district of Mersin Province, Turkey. Distance to Erdemli is 26 kilometres and to Mersin is 62 kilometres . The population of Yeniyurt was 262 as of 2011. The area around the village is full of Roman ruins including a castle and two bridges still used by the pedestrians. But ther village was founded during the Ottoman era.

Veyselli, Erdemli

Veyselli (former Karafakılı) is a village in Erdemli district of Mersin Province, Turkey. The village is situated in the Toros Mountains at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|38|N|34|06|E||| | |name= }}. The distance to Erdemli is 27 kilometres and to Mersin is 63 kilometres . The population of the village was 193 as of 2011. The village was founded 150 years ago by a Yörük chief named Veysel.
