1927 Crimean earthquakes

The 1927 Crimean earthquakes occurred on June 26 and September 11–12, 1927 in the waters of the Black Sea, hitting the Crimean peninsula. The June earthquake hit with a force of 6-7 on the Richter scale, while the one in mid-September was reported to have been up to 9 on the Richter scale near the city of Yalta. During the September earthquake, observers reported seeing large fiery flares erupting from the Black Sea ranging from 20 to 500 metres high.

Krasnokamianka (village)

Krasnokamianka (also known as Red Stone, Kiziltash or Kyzyltash) is a village located in the Feodosiya municipality of Crimea, located in the southern part of Ukraine. Mountain slopes are forested tracts Kyzyltash pubescent oak, sessile oak and hornbeam ordinary, common relict plants listed in the Red book: high juniper, pistachio tupolistnaya, many species of orchids. The highest peak in the vicinity Krasnokamianka - Sandyk - Kaya (Stone forehead) - 698 meters above sea level.
