Medzhybizh Fortress

Medzhybizh Castle (Ukrainian: Меджибі́зький замок, Medzhybiz'kyi zamok), built as a bulwark against Ottoman expansion in the 1540s, became one of the strongest fortresses of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland in Podolia. It is situated at the confluence of the Southern Bug and Buzhenka rivers, in the town of Medzhybizh, Ukraine. The castle's founder was Mikołaj Sieniawski, and the Sieniawski family owned Medzhybizh until its extinction in the early 18th century.

Derazhnia

Derazhnia is a city and railway station in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast of western Ukraine. Derazhnia is situated along the banks of the Vovk River (meaning wolf in Ukrainian), 42 km east from the regional center Khmelnytskyi. An important railway junction on the line Lviv-Khmelnytskyi-Zhmerynka. Derazhnia has 10,500 inhabitants. Derazhnia is the administrative center of Derazhnianskyi Raion. Starozakrevsky Maidan

Staryi Maidan, by 1938 — Starozakrevsky Maidan ("Old Zakrevsky Field ") Ukrainian: Старий Майдан, Старозакревський Майдан, located between Derazhnia and Volkovintzi, near Kalnaya in the Podolia region of Ukraine was a Jewish agricultural colony established in 1844.
