Záhony

Záhony is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary. It covers an area of 6.97 km and has a population of 4675 people (2005). It is near the Ukrainian border and was part of Ung county before Trianon Treaty. Road and railway border crossings into Ukraine are located here. Uzhhorod railway station

The Uzhhorod Railway Station (Ukrainian: Залізнична станція "Ужгород") in Uzhhorod, Ukraine, consists of two railway stations: the Central Railway Stations and the Suburban Railway Station. The railway station also serves as the port of entry on the Slovakia–Ukraine border for freight transportation. The rail border checkpoint is part of the Chop customs. The complex was opened to the public in October 2004. It is situated on Heorhiy Kirpa Square in Uzhhorod.
