Boothferry Park

Boothferry Park was a football stadium in Kingston upon Hull, and was home to the football club Hull City for over 50 years from 31 August 1946 until December 2002, when they moved to the Kingston Communications Stadium. In later years financial constraints forced Hull City to allow Kwik Save and Iceland supermarkets to embed themselves into part of the stadium's structure.

Haltemprice (UK Parliament constituency)

Haltemprice (which from 1950-1955 was officially known as Kingston upon Hull, Haltemprice) was a constituency in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a traditional sub-division of the historic county of Yorkshire. It returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was created for the 1950 general election, and abolished for the 1983 general election.

Hull Fair

Hull Fair is one of Europe's largest travelling funfairs, which comes to Hull, England for one week, from noon on Friday to midnight the following Saturday, encompassing the second Tuesday of October each year. The fair is open every day between these days except Sunday. Unlike small local fairs, Hull Fair attracts rides, attractions and travellers from a wide variety of different regions from around the country.
