River Seven

The River Seven is a river in North Yorkshire, England. The River Seven rises on Danby High Moor, in the middle of the North York Moors, and flows south for about 15 miles or 25 km to meet the River Rye, at Brawby. After leaving Danby High Moor, the river flows through Rosedale and passes Rosedale Abbey. In its lower course, it meanders due to interlocking spurs. A number of villages lie along the lower course of the River Seven.

Mumbo Jumbo (roller coaster)

Mumbo Jumbo is a roller coaster which opened to the public on 4 July 2009 at Flamingo Land Resort, UK. Mumbo Jumbo is situated in the Lost Kingdom section of the park and has orange supports and black tracks. The roller coaster is an El Loco model built by manufacturer S&S Worldwide; it is 98 feet tall, features two inversions and a maximum G force of 4g.

Flamingo Land Resort

Flamingo Land is a theme park, zoo, and resort, in North Yorkshire, England. It attracts about 1.8 million visitors per year. Flamingo Land is also the 12th most visited theme park in Europe. Some of the major attractions at Flamingo Land include: Pterodactyl - A Zamperla Vertical Swing installed in 2012 in the new 'Primeval' land. Mumbo Jumbo - Opened in Summer 2009, this rollercoaster featured the steepest drop in the world at the time (Guinness Book of World Records).

Kumali

Kumali, installed 2006, is a Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster (SLC), located in Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire, England. The ride is a custom layout with some new elements for Vekoma SLCs, including the cobra roll, which Flamingo Land wished to be out over a lake. It is named after the alpha male of the zoo's lion pride. In 2008 Flamingo Land added video recorders to each car so riders can purchase their own video of them on the ride as well as the on-ride photo.

East Ness

East Ness and West Ness together form the English village of Ness, which sits on the south bank of the River Rye. The name Ness is believed to mean nose or headland in Medieval Norse, and Ness is the start of the hill that ultimately rises up to become Sutton Bank. The village of Ness is believed to have been split into West & East, following the Norman Invasion as the ownership of the village was split between two landlords. This land ownership split still continues today.
